Rev. P. McKague performed the ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, Susan wore a floor length gown of white peau de soie, featuring a high round neckline, long sleeves slightly puffed at the top and a slight train. She carried a bouquet of red roses, and wore a white ribbon in her hair. Her sister, Janice of Toronto, was her bridesmaid. Janice wore a long gown of Swiss figured voile in soft yellow similar to the brides, with a yellow rib- bon in her hair and carried a single giant white mum. The best man was Fred Nicol of British Columbia. At the receiption held in the Masonic Hall, where a Buffet supper was served, Mrs. Mclnnes received wearing a navy blue Fortrel dress, with long sleeves, matching accessories and wore a mauve mum corsage. Mrs. Glad, also receiving, wore a pink Fortrel dress and a white mum corsage . Susan's brother, Vincent, was Master of Ceremon- ies and Mr. Cliff Barker gave the toast to the Bride. Out of town guests who attended the wedding were sisters Janice and Judy, Toronto, Jennifer, Thunder Bay, Sandra and husband, Lynn Merrick, B.C.; brothers, Bryan, Terry, Vincent and wife Gwen, Toronto; Fred Nicol and wife Linda, B.C .; Dick Austin, Belleville; Mr. and Mrs. Johnson and son; Mr. S. Train, Mr. R. Reaney, Keith Searles, Gerald Searles and fiance, all of Toronto; Danny Miller, Don Richard, B.C .; Bill More and Betjy Forbes, Thunder Bay; Mike's sister and brother-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. N. Dunahue, Thunder Bay; as well as many others from Schreiber and Terrace Bay. The couple will reside in Toronto. LIBERALS ORGANIZE FOR ELECTION CAMPAIGN Members of the Terrace Bay Liberal Association met last week at the home of the group's president, Ed Cavanaugh, to prepare for the October 30th federal election. The local Liberals plan an active and interesting agenda of events to achieve the re- election of Keith Penner, the present Member of Parliament, who is again running as the Liberal can- didate in this riding. Dick Baron was appointed Campaign Chairman for the town, and Michael Anderson was named Publicity Chairman. To give the people of Terrace Bay an opportunity to meet their MP, in person, it was decided that a "Meet-the-Candidate" evening be held on Tuesday in the Recreation Center with Mr. Penner in attend- ance to discuss local problems, to explain govern- ment policy, and just to say hello to his constituents. An invitation was to be extended to all residents of Terrace Bay to attend this informal gathering.
