PAGE 12 TERRACE BAY NEWS JUNE 28, 1972 Development of Facilities - cont'd from page 9 .... The Terrace Bay Recreation Committee along with the Lake Superior School Board are developing a multi-purpose play area between the Terrace Bay Campus and the Terrace Bay Public School. This athletic field when completed will accommodate such sports as Track and Field events, Soccer, Football, Field Hockey and Fastball. Present plans call for the organization of some volunteers during the month of July to attempt to complete this facility. The section of the field located inside the track area will be fertilized and reseeded in early July. It is hoped that people of this community will co- operate by not using this section of the playing area for the summer.
