Apparently some person or persons think that a boat is more seaworthy filled full of holes. An elderly pensioner was in the village during the week from Thunder Bay and decided to inspect his cabinboat and rowboat that he had put on top of the cabinboat when he pulled them ashore for the winter. The rowboat was peppered with holes, some 15 of them, that looked a} if it had been shot full of holes. He was unable to examine the cabinboat until the pile of snow that covered it had been removed. It is a pity that people can't leave their property without supervision these days anymore . It is so discouraging the waste of material things and the amount of money that has to be spent for repairs especially by a pensioner.
