Last year six different fam- ilies in our area were given assistance by way of pay- ing for travel costs to and from Toronto where most specialized treatment takes place. On behalf of the Ontario Society for Crippled Children, the Kinsmen Club are again asking the publig to support this years' campaign. The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. and a card party will follow the supper. A dessert tea was planned for May 6 in the town hall from 3 = 5:30, the public cordially invited for a small admission fee. Mrs. John Morris presided for the meeting with 1? members attending. They wore a touch of green ard donated salt and peppers and pickle dishes to the supply cupboard. Thank-you notes were receiv=- ed from Mrs. T. Singleton for use of the baby scales and from Mrs. T. Peltier for the baby party. The book "Women's Institute Story' will be cir~ culated among the members to read before donating it to the Public Library. Information and forms regarding short courses, training courses and Food Forums were received from the Home Economist in Thunder Bay.
