Registrants taking this course have indicated that they would like to see more workshops planned this year and it is hoped that come this Fall, the Recreat- ion Committee will be able to offer another workshop. Last year more than 436,000 articles of clothing for relief in emergencies were made by these volunteers and shipped all over the world. * * * In more than 500 communities across Canada the Sickroom Equipment Loan Service of the Canadian Red Cross provides persons with the equipment they require free of charge. Each year the Sickroom Equipment Loan Service plays an ever increasing role in community assistance.
