NORTH SHORE M. HOCKEY - FINAL PLAYOFFS The Terrace Bay Midgets will be hosting the win- ner of the Marathon-Manitouwadge series this com- ing Sunday, March 15th. Game time will be 2:30 p.m. The series between Manitouwadge and Mara- thon is going three full games and the third game will be played on March 4th. At the time of this write-up, the winner fo the Schreiber-Marathon Major Peewee had not yet been declared as the second game was not scheduled until Feb. 28th. If Schreiber wins the second game, then the Terrace Bay Major Peewees will host the Schre- iber Major Peewees on March 5th at 1:00 P.M. Definite game times will be announced later on this week through posters. EXHIBITION RINGETTE GAME Acombined Junior=-Senior team travelled to Red Rock this past Sunday to play the Red Rock Senior team. The game was a very exciting one to watch and the final outcome was Red Rock - 7, Terrace Bay 6. We hope that during the month of March the Red Rock team will return the game by travelling to Terrace Bay for an exhibition game only. The girls playing on the Terrace Bay team are to bd congratulated for putting a big effort into the game. Thanks should go to the following drivers who tran ported the girls to and from Red Rock: Mrs. D. Bou- gie, Mr. J. Richards, Mr. W. McKie, Mr. H. Her- mes, and Mr. J. Dupas. . UPHOLSTERY WORKSHOP - Second session For those who registered foi the second session of the Upholstery Workshop, a reminder that the course will start on Monday, March 6th, and run through to Friday, March 10th, in the Art Room of the Recreat- ion Centre. ONTARIO YOUTHEATRE The Recreation Office has recently received infor- mation on Ontario Youtheatre, which is a programme sponsored by the Youth and Recreation Branch, Depa- rtment of Education. The programme is designed to meet the needs of young people interested in the field of youth theatre. This year marks the second year of operation for this programme, and if there is anyone in Terrace Bay int- erested in receiving more information about Youth- eatre, be sure to contact the Recreation Office. FEDERAL GRANT FOR SUPPORT TO STREET AGEN- CY PROJECTS The Recreation Office has also recently received information on grants now available to permit the employment of students in programmes which fulfill a practical need in dealing with the problems of drug abuse . Information on how to apply for a project, etc., is available at the Recreation Office. The deadline for submissions on this Federal project must be received by March 15th, which is the same deadline as the "Opportunities for Youth" programme. Don't forget that this information is available for anyone interested in finding out more about this pro- gramme.
