SCHREIBER CURLING CLUB NEWS Teh Schreiber Mixed Curling Bonspiel held on Feb. 25, 26, and 27th was a huge success. "Mugs" McCuaig presented the "Minnie"McCuaig Memorial Trophy to the Barry Harper rink of Wendy Weaver, Knut Schmiedchen, and Brenda Harper. A tough playoff game against the Ivan Cocks rink from Thunder Bay was certainly the highlight of the day. Ivan with Dixie Winters, Donnie Winters and Judy Cocks were two down coming home but were down one with the possibility of two. Barry with the last rock had the edge on Ivan and moved in to lie second shot. A missed shot by Ivan finished the game and Barry didn't have to throw his last rock.
