HOSPITAL NEWS BULLETIN The McCausland Hospital Board held a special meeting on Monday, January 31, 1972, to deter- mine the Annual Membership Fee for 1972-73. The full Board moved into committee and discussed different amounts. After a complete discussion, a unanimous resolution was passed to establish the Annual Membership Fee at $1.00 per person. Hospital Membership may be obtained at the two Public Meetings scheduled for February 21st and 22nd in Terrace Bay and Schreiber respectively . A full announcement of these meetings will be made in next week's newspaper. LIBRARY NEWS The Terrace Bay Public Library would like to thank the N .W.R. Library System; The Association of Professional Engineers and the Art Club for materials donated in their related fields. The Federal Government frequently advertises job opportunities in Canada through the public library. These ads are posted on the bulletin board. The library circulates materials geared to all levels of interest, be it academic or entertainment. Some of the services of the library are: film circu- lation; projector provided to organizations for a rental of $2.00. Materials rented on request from University or the National Library. Foreign books are also * available. Circulation for 1971 - 18,161. Circulation for Jan. 1972 - 1441. T.B. BOWLING ASSOCIATION It was a hot week for the Leagues starting January 31st. Standings in the Mixed League are getting closer now as we get in the swing of things, and should be close to the end of the season. Costa 102 Several high scores in that League were also re- corded. Tony Costa swept the high single with 317 scratch while Marion Reid received 240 scratch. In the Ladies Afternoon, the high game was rolled by Joan Greenwood with 214 and the high average for the year of 202 belongs to Eve Boutilier. The Ladies Evening bowling was dominated by Dot Coupal this week. Dot rolled the high game for 296 and also holds the high average for the year. There were substantial rumours that 289's and 273's were rolled that night as well. This just goes to show that Practice Makes Perfect - at least a good night does anways.
