The owl hed been found et the Schreiber dump, unable to fly and being attacked by ravens, and was brought to the Lands end Forests Office. Ir. Kodila "adopted" the bird and tried to build up its strength so he could let it go free. Before doing this, he gave the students of the Separate, Public and High Schools in town the rare opportunity of seeing this beautiful animal close-up.
