NOVEMBER 11th ARMISTICE DAY TEA The Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Branch no. 223 held their November meeting with Mrs. P. Coupal presiding. Plans were finalized for Remembrance Day Tea, Novelty Bazaar, and Bake Sale. This will be held at the Community Church, with a Fish Pond Table, as well as the Lands Rangers will have their own Candy table. Convener for this event are as follows: - Tea - Mrs. C. Koski and Mrs. C. Smith; Bake Table - Mrs. D. Gunter and Mrs. R. LeClair; Bazaar - Mrs. C. Daley and Mrs. B. Randa; Fish Pond - Mrs. W. Mallais and Mrs. A. Cvitkovich. Poppy Campaign = Mrs. W. Sitko and Mrs. W. - Megraw. The Armistice Day Dinner will be held on November 13th and convened by Mrs .. J. St. Louis with Mrs. H. Milks and Mrs. W. Young. A letter was received from the Salvation Army thanking the Auxiliary for their boxes of clothes that were sent to them. Secretary, Mrs. C. Mercier read the provincial Council report. All members were in favor in adding a Sports chairman to plate of officers. Mrs. C. Lemay reminded all members of the Halloween Dance to be held on October 29th. All members are urged to wear costumes, and every lady to bring a box lunch which will be auctioned off at the dance. Highlight of the evening was Mrs. Webster, Avor representative, advising the ladies on the art of using make-up. Using as models for this evening were Mrs. S. Ballentine and Mrs. C.
