The winner's name will be drawn at the opening Mini-Bonspiel. Opening Mini-Bonspiel: To kick off the 1971-72 curling season, a Mini-'Spiel is scheduled for Saturday, November 6th. This bonspiel is open to anyone who is a member of the Recreation Association -- you do not have to be a member of the Men's or Ladies' Curling Clubs. The entry fee for this bonspiel is $2.00 per rink (50¢ per curler). All entries must be in by Monday, November 1st and entry forms are part of the Membership Forms (to be found in the full-page ad on page 24 of this paper). Recently the Recreation Office has received a number of enquiries regarding a Ceramics Course. BADMINTON SATURDAY OCT. 30TH A reminder to all those who registered for the Junior Badminton programme that session #3 will take place at the High School Auditorium this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. All players have been divided into two major groupings and each player should know when his session will be held. JUNIOR BASKETBALL The Recreation Committee would sincerely like to thank the following people who are instrumental in conducting a Junior Basketball programme for Grade 7 and 8 students at the High School Auditor- ium: Sue Bulawka, Louise Brooks, Gail Simmer, Geraldine Belliveau, Ralph Coe and Jim Corrigan. The first session of the Junior Basketball Program me was held last Saturday, which turned out to be a great success.
