This was an unexpected accident. Mr. Quinton went in the office. Right away every- one thought of a rock. But of all things it was a partridge. So he went around to show everyone. Then everyone yelled! Can | have it? So Mr. Quinton told Bruce that he could have it. He went into the teachers room and put it in a bag and gave it to him. When Mr. Cressman came in with an astonished look on his face, he asked Mr. Quinton what had happened. He said "we just threw a pupil out the window". But of course he was just kidding. It was really a partridge. On our way to our home room Bruce said "Now | can go home and tell my mother | shot a partridge at school ."
