SCHREIBER TOWNSHIP OF SCHREIBER OFFICE OF CLERK-TREASURER NOTICE To all Heavy Equipment Contractors proposals to the Township of Schreiber for garbage collection and refuse site. The Council of the Township of Schreiber, in- { vites proposals for interested heavy equipment contractors, for the selection, establishing and maintenance of a garbage disposal site, within the Township of Schreiber. It would be necessary for the contractor to select and maintain a site which conforms to regulations set out by the Ontario Government. A proposed schedule for garbage pick up and the frequency of this service should be included. Any proposal should include the purchase and use of the Garbage Packer, presently owned by the Township. THE LAKE SUPERIOR BOARD OF EDUCATION ANNOUNCES | OPENING OF SCHREIBER PUBLIC SCHOOL Schreiber Public School will open for the 1971- 72 school year on Tuesday, September 7th. Grades 1-8 pupils will report at 9:00 a.m. D.S.T to their last year's classroom where their new teacher will guide them to this year's room. On Tuesday, classes will operate during the morning only with dismissal prior to noon. The Rossport bus will conduct the return run at 12:00 noon. There will be no Kindergarten classes on Tuesday, September 7, but all Kindergarten pupils will report to their classroom in the Annex at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8th. New pupils may report to the school office for registration on September 1-3 between 2 and 4 p.m. or on the morning of Tuesday, September 7. The schedule of class hours to be effective on Wednesday, September 8, is as follows: - 8:45 a.m. - School Door's Open 8:55 a.m. - Admission Bell 9:00 = 10:25 a.m. - Classes 10:25 - 10:45 - Recess 10:45 - 12:00 noon - Classes 12:00 - 1:10 p.m. = Lunch Hour 1:10 p.m. - Admission Bell 1:15 = 2:25 p.m. = Classes 2:25 - 2:45 p.m .- Recess 2:45 - 3:45 p.m. = Classes 3:45 - Dismissal 4:00 - Bus Runs Kindergarten and Grade 1 dismissal times are onerhalf hour earlier than Grades 2-8.
