Mr. and Mrs. Spikula spent their time with the former's aunt = Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Moffatt at their summer home at Sauble Beach, and making it a family gathering, Mr, and Mrs. Roy Potvin came with their family from Waterloo. Mr. and Mrs. Brian McCuaig and son Maxwell of Don Mitls visited Mr. and Mrs. Lester McCuaig this week. - Tana : : Mrs. Helen Sheehan of London, Ontario and Mrs. Noran Shelton of Island Estates, Clearwater Florida, are the guests of their brother and family Mr. and Mrs. George Walsh. Visiting with Mrs. Nettie Thrower during the past month have been the following relations = Mr. and Mrs. Roger Northey, en route from the Northwest Territories to their home in Delhi, Ont.; Mr. and Mrs. Sam Thrower, of Sarnia; Mr. and Mrs. Harry McCutchen of New Jersey; Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Thrower of Woodstock; Mr. and Mrs. William White of Parry Sound; Mr. and Mrs. Jim McAllum of St. Boniface, en route home after holidaying in the Catineau Hills and friends, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Welch of Thunder Bay. Mrs. Thrower has just returned home after visiting her brother, Louis Nuttal in Hurkett. Mr. and Mrs. John Mickelson and son Eddy and Linda Maxwell of Sioux Lookout visited Mr. 'and Mrs. Norman McCuaig last week. Mr. and Mrs. R. Severs and Mrs. Furgson of Ajax, Ont. visited Mrs. Della Moore this week. W.A. Mullins and Gordon Nesbitt are attending a U.T.U. convention in Miami, Florida. Their wives accompanied them. It was a memorable occasion for the David Godin Family, when as a unit they attended the 50th wedding anniversary of their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Godin in Timmons, July 30th. The happy occasion gave the group a wonderful opportunity to meet both old and new relatives. Going together were Mr. and Mrs. Michael McGrath Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Godin and Mrs. Margaret Godin of Schreiber, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Godin, Thunder Bay and Mr. and Mrs. G. Ramsay, Terrace Bay. Mrs. Annie McGrath, long time resident of Schreiber, now of Renfrew, is here enjoying a whirl of visits with her many relations and old friends. * Mrs. McGrath is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. John Power. Mr. and Mrs. M.J. McGrath were in Thunder Bay to attend the graduation of their daughter, Ann Marie, as a R.N.A, Stewart Brydges and Mrs. Jane Malcolm were here on Wednesday to confer with the local Pro- gressive Conservative Association regarding Mr. Brydges' campaign as candidate for the Thunder Bay Riding, Northwestern Ontario. R.B. Spadoni, presided for the meeting which was also attended by Stan Hodgkiss and James Hale of Terrace Bay. Mrs. Brydges accompanied her husband. Mrs. Leslie Gerow and Mr. and Mrs. T. Kronk, of Sudbury, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gerow, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gray and Mrs. Nellie Gerow. Rene Bedard was called to Sudbury by the death of his brotherRoly. Lorne Duggan is home from Windsor visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Duggan. Holiday visitors in town included Mr. and Mrs. Dave McKay, Sioux Lookout; Bill Mukensturm and Dick Kelley, of Tecumseh, Mich.;-J.G. McKay, Stuart McKay and Linda McKeown, Thunder Bay, with friends and relatives and Mr. and Mrs. W. Stahr, with grand daughter Ingrid Stahr, of Thunder Bay; D. Thonebohn, of New York City; and Mrs. Greta Giska, of Bremen, Germany with Mr. and Mrs. Gus Krause. Craig and Carson Fischer have gone to Simcoe to visit relatives and work in the near'y centre. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Duffy of Thunder Bay visited their sons Brian and Eddy. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Krause and family have re- turned from their vacation spent camping in various resorts along the way to Detroit, and bringing home with them Mrs. Krause' sister-in-law, Mrs. Millie Morrision, with Cindy and Sandy. OPEN RECEPTION An Open Reception in honour of Mr. and Mrs Paul Gauthier (nee Colleen Cosgrove) whose marriage takes place August 14th, 1971 will be held in the Schreiber Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. on August 14th.
