Mrs. Joe Campbell presented a Money Tree from friends in Schreiber. Adding to the occasion was the presence of Mrs. Jack Willison of Thunder Bay, who had been the bridesmaid at the Bolan's wedding. Russell (Coke) Campbell, the Bolan's son=in-law. spoke informally, reminiscing of thedays of his courtship of their daughter Ellen; when the two sets of parents lived within a few doors of each other, making his return from work, as a train despatcher, a natural route: lunch first, at Bolan's before going home to Campbell's! He also said the dinner itself was a special tribute to Mr. and Mrs. Bolan when the United Church Women broke a rule and catered for the meal . Following the dinner a reception was held when the community met to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Bolan. DRAKE-LANG VOWS EXCHANGED A double ring ceremony in Fort William Knox United Church July 2 solemnized the marriage of Kathryn Ann Lang, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert H. Lang, 319 Bol- ton Cr., and G. Boyd Drake, son of Mr. and Mrs. Garry Drake, Schreiber. Rev. Ken Myers officiated. Organist was the groom's sis- ter Lynne Drake. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a for- mal-length gown with empire waist. The skirt and cummer- bund were in white peau de soie and bodice with stand- up collar and long puffed sleeves gathered to self-but- toned cuffs, in white lace. A detachable train of peau, falling from the waistline, was trimmed with panels of matching lace. Her wedding ring headdress in white satin was topped by a bouffant silk illusion veil with scalloped edges: She wore an antique gold: jewelled bracelet belohig- ing to the groom's grandmoth- er worn by brides in all -the family weddings, - and ecar- ried: a mixed bouquet of mauve carnations, 'pink .sweetheart. roses, cornflowers and white and yellow daisies.
