ALL-STAR FASTBALL - COACHES REQUIRED All leagues in the Minor Fastball programme have now been completed and COACHES ARE NOW RE- QUIRED FOR ALL-STAR TEAMS. The Recreation Office would appreciate receiving names of those interested in coaching all-star teams in the following age groups: Boys 10-12 years of age, boys 13 and 14 years of age, girls 12 to 16 years of age. Practices would be held once or twice weekly with a number of exhibition games throughout the summer. CAN YOU HELP OUT? PLAYGROUND ARTS FESTIVAL STARTS TODAY A reminder to all Playground children as well as parents that the special programme being sponsored by the Ontario Council for the Arts starts today, Wednesday, July 21st. All parents are invited to attend tonight's session beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Recreation Centre (Craft Room) to observe the type of programme being presented by these people. "The Arts Festival programme will continue until this Friday, July 23rd. It is hoped that the Play- ground children as well as the Playground staff will have the opportunity to absorb new and exciting ideas in drama, music and art. ART TREK This programme will be held on Monday and Tues- day, July 26-27 at the Terrace Bay Recreation Centre It is available to all persons 10 years of age and up and sessions will be as follows: - 9.30 a.m. - 12 noon = 10 fo 17 years of age 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - 10 to 17 years of age 3:30 p.m. = 5:00 p.m. - 18 years of age and over 6:30 p.m. = 9:00 p.m. - 18 years of age and over All persons who registered for this programme are asked to meet in the Curling Lounge of the Terrace Bay Recreation Centre af their respective times as indicated above.
