JUNE 9, 1971 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 23 BILL SMILSKY COMPETES IN ONTARIO FINALS Bill Smilsky a second year Schreiber High School student placed third in the 400 metre race af the NWOSSA competition in Thunder Bay, and second in the 200 metre. This qualified him to enter the Ontario finals in Toronto. At the finals, Bill beat 24.5 sec. in Thunder Bay and ran the 200 his time of metre in 23.3 sec. He placed third in the heat. Starr, Director of the Agricultural and Horticultural Societies Branch of the Department of Agriculture and Food, that a 25% grant has been approved under the Community Centres Act for the athletic, field and recreational complex at Holy Angels School, Schreiber. ; The grant in the amount of $6,700.45 and the advice and assistance of Mr. Starr and his staff contributed immensely to the success of this project.
