SCHREIBER ELEMENTARY HOME & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION The regualr monthly meeting of the Schreiber Elementary Home and School Association was held in the school preceded by the usual parent-teacher interviews. Mrs. G. Fischer chaired the meeting and the minutes and financial statements were approved as read by the secretary and treasurer, Mrs. He Jartus, and Robert Grant, respectively. Mr. Seumur, Principal, reported that the first half of the Elective Programme hed proved very successful and the second half would begin immediately. Several parents volunteered their services to assist. Kindergarten Registration will teke place sometime in May and parents will be notified as to their appointments. The School Nurse will be in attendance for registration and pros- pective pupils will be given an Inventory Test which will give the parents various areas in which they can assist during the summer holidays to prepare the children for school. This mey be in the area of tying shoe-laces, buttoning or zippering their own clothing, etc. Continued on page 27 eeses
