TERRACE BAY HIGH SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE Tuesday, April 6, 1971, was the day that much live= ly activity was going on at Terrace Bay High Schoo) - Open House. Many parents from Terrace Bay and Schreiber were pleasantly excited over what they saw. Comments were of the highest for both student and staff. One comment was, "After seeing the achieve- ments and the facilities of this school | will not com= plain about my taxes." As our parents entered the front door they were able to see themselves on T.V. because of our E.T.V. equip ment which was acquired last fall. The Mass Media class also presented their docimentary on Terrace Bay High School that they had prepared this school year. The audio-visual shows that were prepared by the students of Levels 3 and 4 English class were well re- ceived. The students, by means of slides, would in- terpret moden rock songs. Students in the Electronic shop gave demonstrations on how to make lamps out of plastic flower pots. In, this room our Ham operators demonstrated the use of the Ham radio. They were able to contact another school station in New York State.
