TERRACE BAY WELCOMES FATHER GREENGRASS An informal coffee hour was held on Sunday afternoon from 12 to 2 p.m. in St. Martin's Church to provide an opportunity for the people of hall, Terrace Bay to meet and welcome Father Greengrass, newly installed Parish Priest at St. Martin of Tours. Ross Mitchell welcomed members of the Community Church and St. Martin's and introduced Father Greengrass to them. Tea, coffee and dainties were served by Mesdames J. Caccamo, C. Mac- Donald and J. Santerre. Sympathy is expressed to Mrs. Ted Young and family on the passing of Mrs. Young's mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Bell, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. COUPLE HONORED ON 25TH Mr. and Mrs. Leo Phillips were honored on their 25th Wedding Anniversary at a party held in the Masonic Hall. Beverly Phillips, home from Duncan, B.C. for this special occas- ion, had the honor of pinning a Gil Ine real thing. Lloyd Phillips, home with his wife Bonnie, from Inverhuron, presented his Dad with a Boutinniere. Leo Phillips pinned a corsage on Mrs. Phyllis Lepper, who had been Marg's Maid of Honor. Marvin Osmar made the presentation, which was a gift of money from their friends and was fashioned on two crossed silver hockey sticks. Mr. and Mrs. Phillips also received a kitchen suite from their family and a cup and saucer and a vase from other well wishers. Leo responded with thanks and Lloyd also thanked all those who had contributed fo and planned the party. Dancing was enjoyed to the music of Doug Moore. A midnight buffet supper was served by hostesses Elaine Zwir, Maybelle Weberg, Norma Crockford, Arlene Osmar and Barb Mendelin.
