Brown Owl, Mrs. Mary Cebrario, was assisted by Tawny Owls, mrs. June Sisson and Mrs. Betty Huard and Packys Rae Sisson and Donna McGrath. The new little members performed an action song depicting windmills. Mrs. Cebrario, welcoming the parents and friends, said there have been some changes in the work done for badges: the Cookers" badge may now be obtained through a mother's instruction and she may also do the testing. She also described a novel variation of the old game 'Button, button, who's got the Button'? when each girl must do, during the week, a special deed of kindness, with a smile. Mrs. vary Shack, the commissioner, pinned a Guide Leader pin on Mrs. Arlene Conley. "Let the Sunshine In" and several other songs were given by the entire group of Brownies. To mark the occasion Mrs. Shirley vajor had made a cake-a replica of the fairy toadstool, be- fore which each brownie makes her vows and this was served after being duly admired, to the girls and audience, along with sandwiches and other cakes.
