FEBRUARY 18, 1971 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 13° WEEKLY REPORT FROM THE SCHREIBER DETACHMENT 0F THE ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE There were no criminel ceses reported or investigated by members of this detachment during the past week. The traffic scene was similerly quiet with no collisions being reported. Accidents are now showing a decrease of al- most 40% over the same period last year. Let us continue to. be vigilent particularly during these periods of adverse road and weather conditions. Motorists are asked to keep in mind at all times the dan- ger posed by high snowbanks especially due to the fact they go effectively hide children from your view. Traffic Safety Officer, Constable D.B. Anderson is pre- gently engeced in a program stressing the importance of safe- ty invelving various phases of electricity. The programme sponsored by Ontario Hydro is celled "Hi-Line Hazard," and utilizes film, operational models and telks to get it's mes- sage aoross.
