PAGE 10 TERRACE BAY NEWS RECREATION BRIEFS - By Jerry Dupas JUNIOR BADMINTON CLASSES Based on the interest received trom our Grade seven and eight students relative to conducting a Junior Badminton programme, the Recrearion Depart- ment will be running a Junior Badminton programme on Saturday mornings at the Terrace Bay High School Auditorium, starting Saturday, February 20th. This programme is available to Grade Seven and Eight students only and anyone interested in taking part must register at rhe Terrace Bay Recreation Office. Registration forms are available and each student should pick one up at the Recreation Office, fill it our properly and return it by Wednesday, February 17th. The programme will be offered on a casual basis with adult instruction and assistance available. Further details appear on tne registration form. TOURING PLAYERS FOUNDATION A reminder to the general public that the Touring Players Foundation will present "ROOM 110" on Thursday, Fepbruary 11th, ar 8 p.m. ar the Hign School Auditorium. NORTH SHORE HOCKEY Our local Minor hockey teams play their last scheduled game ot the season this coming Sunday, February 7th, when they travel to Marathon. Final standings of the league will be available shortly after February 7th, and playoffs will start | on the weekend ot February 13th and 14th.
