AUXILIARY LEGION HOLD ELECTION Mrs. Ken Davis was elected president of the Women's Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109, at their regular meeting on December 2. Mrs. Walter Dukes brought the report of the nom- inating committee and after nominations from the floor, other officers for the year are = Mrs. Jim Crook first vice-president; Mrs. Edger LeBlanc, second vice president; Mrs. Jim Kostecki, warden; Mrs. Keith Nesbitt, assistant warden. The secretary is to be appointed by the president and the treasurer, remains in office = Mrs. Douglas Moore . Mrs. Harry Smith oy Mrs. Bruce Lidkea were named auditors for 1971. A donation was made to Veteran's Christmas Tree in Winnipeg. Mrs. Lidkea reported on plans for children's Christmas Tree party and on a most successful Poppy Day Canvas. The January lunch hostesses will be Mesdames Leonard Huard, Jacques and Ivan Johnson. Rembrances were sent to honorary members.
