This was filed for further consider ation and a card of thanks was read. "It was unanimously agreed that no one will be put on a team unless their fees are paid in advance. Mrs. Herb Legault moved a vote of thanks for the retiring president and his executive. I+ was noted that some of the lights and reflectors had been re- paired. The draw-up committee is to consist of the executive and two other appointed members. They will also take care of the club's entertainment. Rules were drawn up for the benefit of the club's functioning properly this season. A new elbow is to be purchased for the outlet from the stove to the outdoors chimney. A discussion was had on curling brooms, the size and price range of same. Mr. Hubelit offered to sell the brooms provided the members ordered same and purchased them, not leave them on his hands, which the members thought quite reasonable .. The meeting adjourned on motion of Mac Hubelit. Mrs. David Mushqush was a business visitor to Thunder Bay Wednesday . Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schelling are visiting relatives at the Lakehead. Mrs. Jack Campbell has returned from Thunder Bay P. Very Rev. Dean J. Cano of Schreiber visited this mission, Monday. Mulligan, Assistant Principal at Schreiber High School, has been selected, along with other guidance personnel, to tour Military Training Bases in Western Canada during the week of November 30th. Some of the areas to be visited are as follows: = Royal Roads Military College in Victoria; Fleet School at Esquimalt; Canadian Forces Bases at Esquimalt and Chillawack. This tour has been designed by the Department of National Defence to provide guidance teachers the opportunity fo interact with armed forces personnel and to view their facilities. PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS Numerous parents visited their students' teachers during the parent teacher interviews held at Schreiber High School on Wednesday, November 25th. Students who assisted for the event were as follows Cheryl Karns, Debby Lidkea, Rosemary Speziale, Debra McCanna, Lonnie Connelly, Maria Veneziano, Lucy Racioppi, Karen Guina, Beverley Hamilton, Brenda Cebrario, Clover Dukes, Denise Perras, Janet Lengyel, Dawn Kietrich, Cathy Bottomley, Cathy Cocks, Judy Graham, Kathy Guina, John McGrath, Dale Sisson and Peter Walsh. Appreciation is extended to the above mentioned students and to the Home and School Association for serving coffee.
