This will be a three-event bonspiel with the first draw getting underway at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening. Successive draws start every half-hour from then on. There will be a special entry fee of 25¢ per person ($1.00 per rink) for this'Mini-Bons- peil ". CHRISTMAS PARTY - SATURDAY, DEC. 19th: This year's Christmas Party will be hosted by the Ladies' Curling Club. Festivities start around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19th in the Lounge. There will be live music and the bar will be open. This party is for members only. NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY-THURSDAY ,DEC. 3st. Tickets are available from the Executive. MARTIN'S SCHOOL WILL CALL AT EACH HOUSE IN TOWN TO SELL TICKETS - TOWN IS ZONED SO EACH HOUSE WILL BE CALLED ON ONLY ONCE! To be drawn December 15th. soon --- this party is open to all! Dancing from 9:30 P.M. on into 1971 and the usual bar facilities will be available. HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY HOLDS ANNUAL MEET- ING The Terrace Bay Horticultural Society held it's 1970 Annual Meeting recently with the various com=- mittee chairmen reporting on an active year. A total of 240 people from Terrace Bay and Schreiber purchas ed memberships during the year. Hyacinthe Landry, annual show chairman, reported on one of the best Flower and Vegetable Shows in several years, with 568 individual entries. The Junior Gardeners program, under the guidance of Albert Cadieux Sr., had a most successful year with many ekcellent exhibits at the annual show. As an added incentive to the young gardeners, Junior Gardeners Crests were awarded to all children who cared for their gardens throughout the summer and ex- hibited produce from them in the show this year. It was suggested that some changes should be made in the regulations governing the Horticultural Society's continued page 14 .......
