PAGE 8 TERRACE BAY NEWS NOVEMBER 26, 1970, SS ---- On Saturday, the Junior Sups hosted the Manitou- ROBINSONS STORE wadge Copper Kings and although they lost 6-5, it was a greatly improved club. It looked like the, Copper Kings were going to walk away with the game as they built up a 5-0 first period lead. The second period went scoreless. In the third period, the Sups STORE HOURS scored at the 28 second mark, Manitouwadge then (For Christmas) scored at the 4.42 mark to make the score 6-1. How- ever, the Sups put up a gallant effort and scored four Terrace Bay MON. to FRI. Phone 3891|| in a row, but were unable to get the equalizer. Copper King goals were scored by Powell, Godin, | a.m. to 5:30 P- m. Jockimski, Mattson, Dumas and Pelltier. Trent Deslauniers led the Sups with 3 goals while Jack Ojavee picked up the other two. CHRISTMAS PARTY: = The annual Christmas Party will be held in the Lounge on Saturday, December 19th. The bar will be open and live music will be provided. Since this gala event will be handled by the Women's Curling Club; maybe we can look for- ward to a Women's Lib Santa Claus!!! Kettle Last Tuesday the Terrace Bay Superiors were at home to the Schreiber North Stars and soundly bea- ten, coming out on the short end of a 9-4 score. The line of Hiller, Webb and Spadoni worked real well for the North Stars. Webb, Hiller and Gellert scored 2 each for Schreiber with singles going to Spadoni, Fummerton and Bailey.
