TERRACE B/Y Vol. 13 No. 47 Serving The District November 19, 1970 LEGION HOLD ARMISTICE SERVICE It was a sunny crisp fall day on November 7th, when the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 223, chose to honour their Fallen comrades at the Cenotaph, rather than the Traditional November 11th, in the hope that a larger number of their members might turn out. Joining the parade were members of the Auxiliary, Land Rangers, Girl Guides, Brownies, Boy Scouts and Cubs, while four members of the Navy League stood the Guard of Honour at the Cenotaph. Father A. Gvora gave the Invocation and a short address. Bert Lohr played the Last Post. The Provin- cial wreath was the first to be laid at the Cenotaph, carried by a Boy Scout and Girl Guide.
