Wight (nf BEAUTY SHOP PHONE 824 - 2673 The Community Church was decorated with purple and white mums for the Candle light ceremony uniting Cathy Jo Cotton and Robert John Wallwin in holy matrimony, on October I7, I197( The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrse C.R. Cotton, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Wallwin, 211 of Terrace Bay. Rev. A. Chabot, of Marathon, officiated with Mrs. Marg Simmer at the organ. Given in marriage by her father, the bride looked lovely in a formal gown of nylon sheer organza over silk taffeta. The straight skirt was softly gathered at the high waist- line. The bodice was fitted, with stand up collar and full length gathered sleeves featured Bishop cuffs. The waist- line was trimmed with satin ribbon in mauve and centered at' front with self bow. The skirt of the gown, bodice and sleeves were trimmed with lace ruching and rose motifs. back of the gown was complimented by a detachable train, fastened at the waist, also with the lace ruching. Her tiered veil of silk illusion was held by a headdress of petals outlined in pearls and irridescents. She carried a tascade bouquet of yellow roses and stephanatis. The bride's three sisters were her attendants - Miss Leslie Ann Cotton, Miad of Honour; Miss Candace Cotton, Bridesmaid and Miss Corinne Cotton, Flower girl. Gowned alike in purple peau de charme, their gowns were fashioned in Empire style, with high neckline. The waist line and cuffs of white ruffled lace were centered with floral trim of pearl irridescents. Matching bows in cord and satin in their hair and purple shoes completed their costumes. The senior attendants carried a single white mum, tipped with purple, and the flower girl carried a basket of white daisies. Best man was Bruce Lundberg and the ushers were Mr. Francis Helmink, Jr., and Mr. Curtis Cotton, bother of the bride. For a reception at the Moose Hall, the bride's mother re- ceived wearing a beige print cast duss of Crimplene with beige accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. The bride- groom's mother wore a coat drass ensemble in platinum knit matching shoes with a corsage of pink roses. The toast to the bride was given by Mr. Curtis Cotton, uncle of the bride. The dining room hostess was Mrs. Lloyd Hiebert. A white lace table cloth covered the bride's table, centered with the three tiered cake edged with purple flowers and tapped with purple bows and white tulle, Purple and white tapers in wrought iron candelabra flanked the wedding cake, which was cut by Mrs. A. MoKechnie. For a honeymoon to Kansas City and points south, the bride donned a brown jump suit with contrasting silk tie matching accessories and a corsage of orange ice roses. The couple will reside in Terrace Bay. Prior to her marriage, the bride was entertained at a Come and Go Shower by Mesdames F. Helmink, Jr. and B. Lundberg and also by the office staff of Kimberly-Clark where the bride is employed. The groom was honoured at a stag by his friends. Mr. and Mrs. R. Wallwin, Sr. entertained at a rehearsal party. Out of town guests included, Miss Margaret Jean Wallwin, Winnipeg; Mr. and Mrs. R. Monteith, groom's grand parents, Thunder Bay; Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Wallwin, Mrs. J. Morrison, Mr. and Mrs. D. Bird, Twylla and Jim, Mr. and Mrs. T.0. Murray, Nancy, Doug and Bill, Mr. end Mrs. J.K. MacDonald, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Cotton, Ian and Allison, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cotton and Joan, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Willoughby, Jody and Shawn, Miss Marie Gibson, Mr. Bob Jonasson, all of Thunder Bay; Miss Sally Murrsy, London, Ont.; Mr. and Mrs. R.T.
