The recommendation that a AD HOC Committee be set up to study the extension of use of schools, in- cluding the Heron Bay School and possibly of summer courses in area for (a) teachers, (b) students, was approved. A Committee to be composed of one Trustee from Schreiber-Terrace Bay combined, Marathon and Manitouwadge including one Principal committee. This committee should consist of three trustees and three principals (the Director ex-officio). Trustees K. Beasley, G. Fairservice and H.J. Coe will act on this committee. The Board approved the recommendation that an AD HOC committee of Trustees be appointed to investigate, report and recommend on the problem of secretarial demand in elementary and secondary schools and the Board Office. The Board offered to purchase the Portable Class- room at the Schreiber High School from the Township of Schreiber at the approximate price of $10,000.00. Subject to Departmental approval .
