On Tuesdsy, September 23, teams from Terrace Bay, Wawe, Marathon, Geraldton, Schreiber and Menitouwadge played for the Costa Trophy in Terrace Bay in the North Shore Secon- dary School Athletic Association. The final outcome saw Marathon on top with 353, nine strokes ahead of last year's winner Terrace Bay -and eleven ahead of third place Gerald- ton. Lowest score for the round was an 82 by Scott MacKay of Marathon. Second wes Ron Pulak of Geraldton with an 83 and tied for third with 887s were Ken Hanley of Terrace Bey and Ken Sweeny of Wewa.
