These "Community Dances" arc sponsored by your Recreation Committee for the benefit of Terrace Bay, Judging from the popularity of past dances and requests for this dance, you'll want more of them, So get that group together and enjoy a reasonably priced dance, 0-0-0 CHRISTM/S TREES If you are going to order your tree from the Scouts, you had better do it bee tween now and Saturday or might be disappoin- ted. MARTIN'S CHRISTM/S C:KE DRAW Would the people who have stubs out on St. Martin's Christmas cake draw, plense try and have them returned by the 15th of December, The Draw is to be held the same evening as the Bingo if possible, 0-0-0 CUB MEETING NOTICE All Bubs arc asked to please note thet the next meeting will bc held in Teen Town on Tuesday, December 16th at 6:30 p.m. CHILDREN'S CHRISTM/.S PLRTIES Some slight changes in dates and policy have taken place in connection with the Children's Christmas Parties, First of all, the first party will be held at 2 p.m, on Friday, Dee¢ember 19th and this will be for children from 2 $0 5 years inclusive,. This party is being held primarily to care for children of pre-school age, but in order to kecp it in a group that will be easier to handle, it will include all children who will have attained their 2nd birthdey prior to Jan. 1st, 1953, up to and including 5 years of age, even though most of the 5 year olds will be in Kindergerton., If any child- ren arc 6 years of age and attending Kinder- garten, they should also attend this party. The second party will be held en Saturday, December 20th, and it also will start at 2 p.m. This party will be held for the children of both schools, who are attending Grades 1 to 8 inclusive, regard- less of age, On the Friday night, Jan. 19th, the High School students will be holding their Christmas Dance and it is understood that they may be inviting a few of the 8th year pupils from the Grade Schools and in this eonnection, it is pointed out to any of those pupils who may be invited, that if they also wish to attend the party on Saturday, they may do so. In order to accommodate the children who will be attending these afternoon parties, it has been arranged to have Santa make two visits to Terrace Bay this year and on each day he will be well laden with gifts, candy, etc, For the benefit of those parents who (cont, on page 6)
