SOFTBALL CHATTER: Day Section: : Last night at the South Camp Diamond, Townsite dropped a thriller to Maintenance and as a result now find themselves unable to moke a playoff berth. In this respect they have elected to forfeit their remain- ing scheduled game with Structural. On Friday evening - 6:30 p.m. - School Grounds - Structural will take on Maintenance for what may be the last scheduled game in the Day Section, 4 win for Structural will assure them first place with Salaried second and Maintenence third. Should Maintenance win this game, however, the remaining game between Meintenance and Salaried will be played Mondey evening at 6:30 p.m., 2a win for Salaried would create a first place tie with Structural. Shift Scejicn: Toe Butler's team (Shift No, 4) have thrown in the towel and all their remaining gemes - 6 in number - have been forfeited.
