Cruickshank,M.i.B.D. 0-0-0 KIWANIS FINDS L.RGE PERCENT.LGE OF LUTOS DEFECTIVE Indications from the lst few days of testing headlights are that most of the sutos in Terrace Bay are operating with im- properly adjusted headlights, Lbout 3 out of 4 cars tested have not passed the safety lane test the lst time through. The most common fault is thet of lights being set too low, Most drivers feel that this is not particularly unsafe because then there is small chance of blinding oncoming drivers. However, if your lights are too low, Mr, Driver, remember that chances are you are overdriving your lights, That is, you will not sce objects far enough ehead to properly control your car in case of nn emergency. . The Kiwanis Club will continue running the headlight check both tonight, Thursdey the 31st and Friday, the lst, from 8 until 10 p.m. Come in and get your hendlights tested free of chorge.
