Volume 7, No. 20 LARGEST CIRCULATION IN TERRACE BAY May 15, 1952. r-- Saitbal | Opener lonight The curtain goes up tonight on the official opening of the Terrace Bay Softball Housc League, when Structural and Saleried meet on the School Diamond at 6:30 p.m. in the first scheduled geme of the season, All teams have been hard at work practising and getting in shape so it should be a close race right down to the finish to see who will cop the play-off spots, Rival coaches for tonight's game, Baldwin and Wood, both claim their tcams are going to come out of tonight's classic with a victory. This is cne game that you can't afford to miss. On Friday night at 6:30 p.m., the first game of the shift-workcrs scetion of the League will get underwny when No. 1 Shift takes on No, 4 at the School grounds. Once again the rival coaches claim that their team will be the one to come out on top. There will be plenty of softball played for the fans to watch this year. Games have becn scheduled for the School Diamond for covery Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fri- day ns well as some weck-cnd games. For the first part of the schedule, the Shift Sect- jon toems will play on Wednesdays and Fri- days while the Day Workers Section will hold forth on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Weck-ond games will be announced each Thursday in the "News". Lot's support this league and we'll all have scme fun!
