With the exception of the Wednesday twilights and the Adult-Junior tournament} coming up on the 2nd, this will be the only major tournament until August 29-30th when our "Open" takes place.. A few of our members have entered the Pro-Am. tournament, at Strathcona Golfcourse this coming Saturday and Sunday, and we hope that they do well. NOTE TO JUNIOR GOLFERS Now that the summer vacation period is coming along, we would ask the co-operation of the Junior golfers, to make use of the facilities, during the early daytime. As we all know, the course becomes } rather congested in the. evenings and we particularly ask juniors that they not tee off from No. 1, between! 5 and 7 o'clock in the evenings, in order to give the senior golfers a chance. We do not intend to dis- courage juniors golfing with their parents or other adults, nor do we discriminate against juniors who have summer jobs, but we would just ask you to all be considerate and do as much of your golfing as you can during the morning and afternoon. one eee ne ncn nate ea a tee RG NCR BA astern CARD OF THANKS - My sincere thanks and appreci ation to all my friends for the cards, gifts and visits during my recent stay in General Hospital, Thunder Bay, and also for the baking, babysitting and kind- nesses showing to my family.
