WERNER SCHEUCHENPFLUG PRESENTS TROPHY The Senior Girls Basketball Team from Terrace Bay High School were very honoured to be presented with the new Lake Superior School District Basket- ball tropy, donated by Mr. Werner Scheuchenpflug . This trophy was awarded to the players after winning a home and home series between Terrace Bay, Schreiber, Marathon and Manitouwadge. Lorraine Belliveau, captain, received the trophy (photo next column) on behalf of the rest of the team - Gail Simmer, Co-Captain; Louise Brooks, Geraldine Belliveau, Catherine Gorman, Diane Lapinskie, Valerie Larson and Dale Boutilier. The team had a very successful season after winning the NSSSAA Western division trophy against Schreiber Nip~-Rock and Geraldton and the overall NSSSAA trophy against Marathon and Manitouwadge. The team competed in the finals against. Dryden, and Selkirk High Schools from Thunder Bay and played extremely well, although Dryden came out on top.
