_MA TERRACE BAY NEWS MRS. BRYSON HONOURED ON 84TH BIRTHDAY Members of the Silver Birch Chapter, No. 264, O.E.S. Terrace Bay, honoured Mrs. Agnes Bryson, organist for the chapter, who celebrated her 84th birthday in April, at their regular meeting, held in the Star Room of the Masonic Hall . Mrs. Doris Almos, Worthy Matron, opened the FINANCING FOR BUSINESS Mr. J. F, Parnell meeting in regular form, and welcomed the following of the Past Matrons and Patrons to the East. Mesdames * Edna Beddard, Barbara Haughn, Helen Wallace, Industrial Develop ment Bank Alice Farrow, Lil Harris, Flora Bryson and Rev. G. will be at Terrace Bay Motor Hotel Terrace Bay, Ontario on Tuesday, May 12, 1970 Husser and Ab Farrow. Mrs. Dorothy Rummery, Secretary, read the minutes and correspondence. | Mrs. Myrtle Robinson, D.D.G.M., will visit the Chapter on Monday, May 11th and a Pot Luck Supper will precede the meeting. Thank you notes were received from the Canadian Cancer Society and the Canadian Mental Association for donations received. Worthy Patron G. Husser and Mrs. Husser donated a beautiful Oil Painting to the Chapter, to be raffled off. Mr. Husser gave some of the back- ground of the painting, locale of which is near Owen Sound. A bake sale is planned for May 9th, in Terrace Bay and-a bakeless bake sale for Schreiber the first week in May. Mrs. Bryson was presented with a beautifully decorated cake (photo below) and a gift of jewellry, hand crafted by Rev. G. Husser, W.P. whose hobby is lapidary. Photo by M. Lundberg.
