Gvora of St.Martin of Tours Church in Terrace Bay presented "A Trip to the Holy Land". in coloured slides which he had taken when he was priviledged to visit there. In the background, while Father Gvora's voice was describing the many historic and beautiful scenes, appropriate music threaded its way through the commentary like a tapestry. One recognized the Fort William Maie Choir singing "Let There Be Light, " music from Exodus and, once or twice, the voice of Johnny Cash singing a religious song which fitted perfectly into the mood of the picture on the screen. It was evident to the large and ap- preciative audience, that Father Gvora has put a lot of work and thought into the making of the recor- ding which accompanied these excel- . lent slides. Tea, coffee and cakes were served by the ladies of St.Martin's Church. A Thought for Today. . better to hope than to despair.
