HOLD POT LUCK LUNCHEON The afternoon group of the Terrace Bay Community Church Ladies Aux- iliary met at a Pot Luck luncheon at 1.30 Monday afternoon with twenty- two ladies out. Reverend 'Husser was a guest, and asked Grace. After the luncheon, the business meeting took place, with Chairman Mrs. Mary Chadwell welcoming the ladies. Mrs. Chadwell regretfully announced her resignation as Chair- man due to reasons of health. She thanked her past executive, and pledged her support to the incoming © executive. Mrs. Lil Harris gave the secretary' report, and the financial statement before giving the annual report. The Ladies Curling Club requested a luncheon to be served in February, but this project was turned down. Mrs. Chadwell suggested repairing old hymn books for children's use, but the cost of repair is prohibitive, and Mrs. Husser came up with the idea of placing the older hymn books in the pews, when there are to be a number of children in Church, such as when the Guides and Scouts have Church parade. A motion was approved to purchase new hymn books as the bud- get will allow a few at a time. The maple syrup project was discus- sed and Mrs. McCausland was asked to write for a price.
