Accounts passed for payment were for December and January; Township - December 31, - 842.12; Jonuary - 527.16; Hydro - Dec. 14,015.08, Jan. 298 .78; Library - Dec. 911.27; Recreation - 5,907 .66; Jan. 2,469.24. , A resolution was passed submitting the 1969 Road Expenditure for grant purposes. A request was re- ceived from the Ontario Ladies Curling Playdowns Committee of Terrace Bay, for assistance in defray - ing the costs of social functions at the time of the playdowns. The Council granted-them $40.00. A donation of $25.00 for the St. John's Ambulance wa approved. Jack Caccamo agreed to look into the installation of a new heating unit in a Township owned house. Correspondence included a letter from the Board ° of Management, District Home for the Aged, asking the feelings of Council about further expansion . Reeve Cavanaugh will reply that Council would support expanding the existing unit. 'The Thunder Bay Health Unit requested the name of the new appointee to the Board of Management -. which will be for the term of two years. This oY appointment must be a Schreiber resident. A summary of inspection by Ontario Water Re- sources Commission was received on the Township Sewage Works, with several recommendations, - which will be handled by Council. KIMBERLY CLARK ENTERTA!NS MANAGEMENT GROUP Kimberly Clark Pulp and Paper Company Limited were hosts last Thursday night when they entertained the management staff and. their wives and lady friends to dinner at the Terrace Bay Motor Hotel . Following dinner, Mill Manager J.A. Ferrier welcomed those present and introduced several ladies who were present at the affair for the first time. He also introduced the guest speaker, Mr. Barton Leach "a real live" Behavioral Scientist. Taking his cue from this introduction Mr. Leach, who is manager of Behavioral Research with Kim- berly Clark Corporation in Neenah, Wisconsin, led his interested audience into the heart of his address with some humorous but pointed first person anecdotes.
