Ballentine presiding. Mrs. C. Mercier read the minutes and greetings from various well wishers and Mrs. P. Jones gave the treasurers report. Mrs. W. Megraw and Mrs. G. Churney were in- stalled and welcomed by the auxiliary. Various reports were read by committees - Mrs. C. Bougie reported a successful raffle on the Christmas Money Doll. The doll was donated by Mrs. D. Gunter, the lucky winner being Mrs. Leona Fournier. The ticket was drawn by Mr. Roy Bray. The sick and visiting report was given by Mrs. A. Daley. Mrs. P. Coupal gave a report on ways and means and Mrs. Milks on the re-catering committee. : The Auxiliary once again are undertaking the canvassing of the March of Dimes, as part of their 'community work. Gunter agreed to promote a shuffleboard tournament for competition between Schreiber and Terrace Bay Legion Auxiliaries, some Saturday in January . Date to be set and competitors advised of same. Also Mrs. D. Gunter advised all members to brush up on their talents, which ever they may be as another "Talent Night" will be held in February. A "Huge Easter Bunny" project will be convened by Mrs. D. Gunter and Mrs. C. Bougie. All mem= bers will be contacted. Mrs. S. Ballentine and Mrs. G. Churney vol- unteered to look after the lunch for the New Year's Eve Party. The evening proved to be a lucky night for Mrs. N. Legacy, winning the pot of gold. At the close of the evening, the executive served a delicious lunch of sandwiches and dainties with Mrs. P. Coupal in charge of refreshments . Jackie and Peter Sopel, of Brandon and Betty and Bob Oksanen of Thunder Bay, spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. J. Yates. Mrs. Gus Erickson, of Thunder Bay has spent the Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Buck.
