HOLY ANGELS CHRISTMAS CONCERT Holy Angels' School Christmas concert was rever~ sal of form when the staff and parents arranged and took part in the program. Master of Ceremonies Michael Reid, announced skits, dances, organ solos, and snappy shorts in comedy and tableau. The tableau, the nativity scene, was particularly beautiful, the ethereal blue of Mary's garments emphasized by Joseph's rough garb. The choir, directed by Giovann Cebrario, made a perfect ' background, softly singing the old carols, some in German, 'talian, French and Ukrainian carols sung in the native tongue. 11 Costumes worn were authentic and enjoyed by the audience as they went down the aisle bearing gifts for baby Jesus. Taking part in the tableau were Mrs. Annette Campbell as Mary, Lawrence Tremblay as Joseph, Harold Dampier and Mrs. Pat Moore as an Indian couple, Edgar Leblanc and Mrs. Gail Welbourne as a German couple, Joe Wills and Mrs. Carol Zborowski a British Isles Couple, Mr. and Mrs. Euclid Morin a French Couple, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Speziale an Italian couple, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kostecki a Ukrainian couple, and Mrs. Evelyn Thrower and Mrs. Isabel Perras as angels. The school staff, wearing huge straw sombreros and gay vests, introduced by Mr. Reid as "IIl-paid workers", presented an amusing dance routine, with exaggerated thumb-waving, demon- strating how they intend to get home for Christmas. As an encore they gave an excellent exhibition of the bossanova, and followed this with a rapid fire round of 'quickie' jokes. The school choir, under the direction of Sister _ Carol, sang "We Wish You A Merry Christmas", "Silver Bells", "I Believe", and "Deck the Halls". The square dances were done by Alex and Claire continued page 3 ;
