BROWNIE CHRISTMAS PARTY On December 9 the three Terrace Bay Brownie Packs joined together to have their Christmas Party. Bay: - Upon entering the Community Church basement I wish to sincerely thenk you for all your many cards, letter and gifts while I was in hospital recently. Your kindness is very much eppreciated. Mrs, C. Mitchell. ATTENTION ALL SNOWMOBILERS A general meeting of the Aguasabon Snowmobile Club will be held Thursday, December I8th at 7.30 p.m. in the Catholic Church Basement. Coffee and doughnuts will be served. WINNER OF THE SNOW TIRE RAFFLE The winner of the Schreiber Minor Hockey Snow Tire Raffle was Arnold Burns/ We wisht to thank the people of Terrace Bay and Schreiber for their support. WHY? FOR THE LADY the Brownies formed a large circle and sang Christmas carols. After this, Pack 1 presented a short play entitled The Night Before Christmas. Pack 2- A Brownie Christmas Carol and Pack 3 - The Liftlesi Star. These were enjoyed by both Brownies and Guiders. The children then sang Jingle Bells and Santa paid a surprise visit to the delighted squeals of the Brownies. Each Brownie then presented Santa with a small gift which in turn will be given to the mission children. A delicious lunch was served to end the evening enjoyed by all. IN NEWFOUNDLAND FOR YOUR TABLE The people in Newfound- Dr. Clement Clarke Moore was ashamed of his poem, very famous, "Night Before Christmas" and would: not acknowledge that he wrote it for more than twenty years.
