With the capable assistance of Mrs. Dorothy Rafalant, members found themselves swinging their partners and having a hilarious time. The Church hall was again beautifully decorated by Barb Wise, Betty Pirie and Marilyn Chisholm, featuring poinsettias and candles on the tables. A delicious lunch was served by June Schritt, May Dorland, Marge Lundberg, Isobel Ferrier and Eleanor Pollard . A vote of thanks is due to Marilyn Chisholm and her committee for a delightful party. LETTER TO THE EDITOR Over the years we have been subjected to writing of dirty words on public buildings and particularly the walkway to the business section, from the Public School area. This we put down to childish pranks, and as soon as possible these obscenities have been removed from sight. But one wonders at the mentality of a person who would deliberately des- .troy property, such as the damage that has been done at the Community Church where windows have been kicked in. One wonders what kind of home these persons come from, where not even a Church building is held sacred.
