HOLD CONVENERS WORKSHIP On Tuesday evening, October 28th, in the Par- ' ish Hall, the C.W.L. held a conveners workshop .° The workshop was chaired by Mrs. F. Helmink, Public Relations Convener for St. Martin's Parish Council. Mrs. Helmink welcomed all the conveners and their committees. The conveners were in groups with their committeesf-where they discussed their respective convenerships. A question and answer period followed. Each table were then given prepared questions by the chairman and each group in turn gave their answers. This proved to be very interesting and effective. The workshop closad, with conveners and committ- ees very pleased and departed with zeal. A lunch followed. RECREATION BRIEFS ICE SKATE EXCHANGE - Don't forget the skate exchange this weekend. Skates for sale will be received at the Recreation Centre in the Craft room on Friday evening between 7 and 9 p.m., and will be placed on sale in the same room Satur- day morning from 10 to 12 noon. There will be a slight handling charge of 25¢ per pair, which will go to the Terrace Bay Minor Hockey Association. ARENA ICE SCHEDULE For the balance of this week, there will be public skating on Wednesday ~ from 2.00 to 5.00 p.m. and 8.00 to 10.00 p.m., and Friday from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. and 8.00 to 10.00 p.m. For further information about the rest of the week, consult the arena schedules posted at the entrance to the arena and on the bulletin board of the Recreation Centre.
