Travelling by bus and using their own stage in the high school gymnasium, the six artists presented five excerpts from the Twenty Centuries of Comedy. | Italian comedy "Pantalone Punished" from the six- teenth century; and English comedy "The Rivals" by Sheridan from the 18th century; a Russian comedy "The Marriage Proposal " by Anton Chekhov from the 19th century and the contemporary French com- edy "The Bald Saprano" by Eugene lonesco, writ- ten in 1950.
