Mr. Matthews was sorry to learn of the closing of the YMCA which _ had been the centre of so many activities during the 1930's when he served as student pastor in the Baptist Church in Schreiber. Mrs. John Spillane, with Nancie and Michael are holidaying in Vancouver where Mr. Spillane will later join them. Myrna McCuaig is holidaying in the States, driving with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Auger of ort William. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Malcolm have had the former's mother and grandmother, Mrs. George Malcolm of Port Arthur and Mrs. John Snow, of Woodridge, Man. visiting them. And their friends were delighted when Mrs. Snow's skill at card reading revealed the Malcolm's were to win a big prize in seven hours and her augury came true exactly when they won the big draw on Legion Field Day.
