The room will be open Monday to Friday 1:30 to 4:00 p.m., inclu- sive, to start. However, if you wish to play in the mornings, please phone the Recreation Office and indicate your interest. The Director of Recreation will be glad to give instruction to anyone who wishes to play but does not know the rules. Ladies, phone your friends and plan to make it an afternoon outing of shuffleboard, cards, or even table tennis. It is also our intention to make this ac- tivity available to other persons if they phone the Recreation Office and indicate their interest - phone no. 825- 3542. HE'S WON THE SCORING TITLE S/X TIMES s 00 NORTH STARS PLAY IN SCHREIBER THURSDAY Schreiber North Stars are currently involved in 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. a play-off series with Westfort Hurricanes. One SUNDAY ,-March 23rd - 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. also game will be played Tuesday and another in the 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Schreiber Arena on Thursday night. The series is a best-of-five battle and promises to be one of the best encountered on the North Shore for several years. Schreiber won the NWOJHL crown Friday with a 4-3 decision at home against Nip-Rock Rangers. Hurricanes are the Thunder Bay Junior Hockey League Champions. The series switches to Port Arthur Arena for the third game Friday. Game 'times for each game is 8 p.m. The fourth game, if needed will be in Fort William Gardens Sunday at 2 p.m. and the fifth WATCH OUT! School's out for the Mid-Term holi- day and young cyclists will be out in full force. Last year, 40 children under 15 years old, were killed while riding bicycles (compared with 18 the year before). The Ontario Department of Transport advises motorists to keep a sharp lookout for young- sters zooming out of driveways and for inexperienced cyclists wobbling shakily along. Parents are advised to make sure their youngsters know and obey the traffic rules for safe cycling.
