There was a matinee as we!! as | the evening performance: which started at 7.30 p.m. | Those present enjoyed the audience participotion | all through the performance. They were asked to guess the outcome of various incidents and when the right answer was received, that part of the book was acted out by the players. It was certainly a privilege! to have such a fine group come to Schreiber. . 1, PENNY AUCTION On Friday evening at 7.30 over one hundred people found their way to Schreiber High School for a Penny Auction. Prizes included many valuable articles such as clothes, shoes, books, perfume, dishes, cups and glasses. Some people also won children's toys and candy. A stuffed came! was fortunate prize of Danny Kruse. The student counci! is pleased with the auction and has called it a "complete success" VISITED BY FR. Rev. ey McGuire visited the school each day and deliver ed a very inspiring talk to the pupils. Each day the pupils joined with Father Cano in celebrating the Mass in the school gymnasium. PUSS 'N BOOTS Puss 'N Boots played by the Foundation Players of Toronto was enjoyed by adults and children alike. Schreiber High School 'Gym was packed to the doors on Saturday afternoon as 500 school children fixed their attention on the fairy tale ennacted before their eyes. Screams of laughter and applause filled the gymnasium as the "PUSS" sang and danced. The performance was enjoyed by all. | really had a rough childhood. Even my rocking horse died.
